Welcome to the Temple Beth El High Holy Days 2020|5781!

This year, High Holy Day services will be celebrated online.

Jewish tradition teaches that we should never risk our lives and our health in the celebration of the High Holy Days. We are taught instead that it is our obligation to protect the vulnerable and to ensure we do not lead our people to inadvertently endanger themselves or others.  We believe that this is the right choice for this moment, and we have embraced the opportunities of this format with excitement and creativity.

We invite our congregation and community to join us for the High Holy Days! You can view our Website Livestream on the following three channels. Click here for detailed viewing information.

Although we cannot be together in person because of the restrictions on large gatherings due to Covid-19, we will still be together "virtually." We are pleased that we are able to provide most High Holy Day services free for our congregation and community, including our Congregational Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur, Kol Nidre, Yizkor, Family Participation, and our energetic and fun Young Children's Services.

Please consider a generous donation to the Annual Appeal "Chai-Line to Healing". Or honor or remember your loves ones in the Tribute Journal, to help support Temple Beth El in these challenging times.

This year's Annual Appeal is more important than ever, with many in our congregation ravaged by the economic downturn caused by the pandemic. Please give generously so that we may continue to provide the help that is so desperately needed.

Honor the memory of a loved one or celebrate a simcha with a  listing in our digital Tribute Journal.

High Holy Day Guests at Temple Beth El are an important part of our community, and we appreciate your financial support. If you have purchased High Holy Day tickets in the past, please consider a donation in the amount you would have spent, or more if you are able.

For Temple Beth El Members Only

While our Livestream will remain accessible to people all around the world, we are as committed as ever to building a unique and deeply meaningful experience for our members, with special events and features available only to them.

Members may log into their ShulCloud account to see the full array of programs available to them, including a "virtual" Erev Rosh HaShanah dinner and a Yom Kippur Break the Fast, as well as many other opportunities to connect with each other and our clergy.  Members are also invited to our special limited in-person High Holy Days Essentials services, taking place on the days in between Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur.   Click here to register.

If you are a Temple member and need assistance logging into ShulCloud, please contact Janice Odesnik,  Database Manager at jodesnik@tbeboca.org or 561-314-2814.

High Holy Days Resources

In the weeks leading up to the holy days, we will provide a variety of Pre-High Holy Day programs and resources to help us maximize the celebration of the New Year and the season of atonement. We will provide guidance on how to sanctify sacred space within our homes, to worship and to pray.  There will be classes and conversations, cooking and children's activities, as well as holiday catering menus from Artisan Foods!

Please take a moment to download the High Holy Day Machzor on a tablet or smartphone, or purchase it on the Kindle app for $10 for each holiday.
