Passover 2020
Passover 2020 begins at sundown on Wednesday, April 8, and ends Thursday evening, April 16. The first Passover seder is on the evening of April 8, and the second Passover seder takes place on the evening of April 9.
Each year, we gather together with family and friends to retell the story of Passover. This year we are urged by our public health officials to stay home. For your own safety and the health and well-being of society at large, the leadership of Temple Beth El also strongly encourage you to stay home and we hope you will celebrate with us "virtually."
We have virtual seders, home delivery menus, and a growing list of resources to help make our Passover at home as enjoyable and meaningful as ever.

BETH EL FAMILY SEDER
led by Rabbi Greg Weisman and Heather Erez
Thursday, April 9 at 5:30 pm
Geared toward families with younger children. We will gather around our Seder tables for a young family-friendly telling of the Passover story, all of the important rituals like WASHING OUR HANDS and dipping the horseradish in the charoset, and saying the blessings with your friends near and far, until it’s time to eat (probably by 6). We will take a break as each family enjoys their own meal, but we will reconnect at 6:45, once we’ve found the Afikomen, to conclude the Seder with singing and joy.
Do I have to be a member of Temple Beth El to participate?
In the spirit of the Haggadah which states: “All who are hungry, come and eat. All who are needy, come and participate in the Passover ritual” – all are welcome to participate in our seders.
