Kulanu Chavurot

Are you looking for a fun way to meet people and make friends within our Temple community? We know helping members connect with each other and Temple Beth El is so important, especially in these unprecedented times. Experience the difference that a warm welcome can make for you and your family by becoming part of a Kulanu Chavurah!

“All of Us” – “Groups of Friends”

Kulanu Chavurot is a Hebrew phrase, kulanu meaning “all of us” and chavurot meaning “groups of friends”. Getting to know people in a larger congregation can be tough. Our Kulanu Chavurot bring members together based on similarities like life stages, ages, or even having children in the same grade - also known as a demographic group.

All our small groups are organized and supported by Temple Beth El staff and each Chavurah has a volunteer leader facilitating the group, helping them plan their activities together. Whatever a group decides to do, the goal is to create meaningful relationships and have a great time! Many Chavurot also participate in Sisterhood, Brotherhood and Temple programs. Chavurot are meeting virtually for now and as things improve, they’ll have in-person experiences as safely as possible, along with the rest of the Temple.

Everyone Can Join!

When you’re new to our Temple community, Kulanu Chavurot is a comfortable way to meet new people and build lasting friendships within Temple Beth El. Each new member will be invited to join by email and will complete a short registration form that will help us connect you with the right group. Existing congregants looking to expand their connections are also welcome to participate - just let us know!
