Love Your Neighbor: A Conversation About Race in Boca Raton

Thursday, June 11, 2020 19 Sivan 5780

7:30 PM - 8:30 PM

The struggle for racial justice has come to the forefront of our national discussion in recent weeks. This past Saturday, June 6, 2020, there was a Peace Walk in Boca Raton, which brought together people of different races, religions, and backgrounds to stand together for peace and justice. In response to this, Temple Beth El is hosting this panel discussion with our rabbis and leaders of our communities of color.

This panel discussion will include:

  • Pastor Ronald Brown Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, Boca Raton
  • Wayne Barton Community leader and activist, and founder of the Wayne Barton Study Center in Boca Raton.
  • Dana Pina Nurse, mother, Temple member, and advocate for racial justice

They will be in conversation with Rabbi Daniel Levin, Rabbi Jessica Spitalnic Mates, and Rabbi Greg Weisman.

If you would like to participate by submitting a question to the panelists, please register in advance.
