18Doors - Pulling Back and Reaching Out: Jewish Values as Parenting Techniques with Rabbi Greg Weisman

Tuesday, April 13, 2021 1 Iyar 5781

8:30 PM - 10:00 PM

Raising children in a Jewish interfaith home is a wonderful challenge. Helping our kids find their place in the world and build a sense of concern for others is an important, but difficult, thing to do. But Jewish values like tzim tzum (pulling back) and tikkun olam (repairing the world), provide useful tools for us as parents.

Join 18Doors Rukin Rabbinic Fellow and father of young children Rabbi Greg Weisman for an engaging conversation on the Jewish values of Tzim Tzum (Pulling Back) and Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World). By talking with our children about how we can learn to look out for others and make room for those around us, we can bring the Jewish concepts into our parenting. Couples will get to know and develop relationships with other interfaith couples with young children dealing with similar challenges and blessings. This event is for Jewish parents raising children in an interfaith home.
